Project Backpack presented by Remke Markets

Cincinnati, OH – July 2, 2015 – FOX19 NOW is helping area students receive school supplies as part of its annual Project Backpack campaign.

Viewers are encouraged to donate supplies at drop-off bins in all Remke Markets from July 13th through August 16th. Pre-packaged backpacks can also be purchased at the markets for $12.99, and cash donations are also accepted.

All donations are given to the Brighton Center and Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati.

Children deserve to start the school year off with the school supplies they need. Project Backpack makes it easy for viewers to make small donations which create big impact. Just a few things like pencils and rulers can inspire students to succeed. This is a project in which FOX19 is proud to participate.

Now in its tenth year, Project Backpack has raised school supplies and backpacks for more than 10,000 Cincinnati-area children to date.
