Maineville Man Found Guilty Of Sexual Imposition Of Seven Year Old

A Warren County man will spend the rest of his life as a registered sexual offender and face the possiblity of spending five years in jail.

Humberto Rendon was found guilty Friday on charges of Gross Sexual Imposition after he apparently abused a seven-year-old child that prosecutors say Rendon knew.

After the conviction, Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel said, "child sex abuse cases are the most difficult cases which we prosecute - often the victims are unable or unwilling to testify, and their parents seek to avoid the stress of a trial."

Rendon is expected to be sentenced approximately 30 days.
