Cooperative Effort In Hamilton Nabs 18 In Prostitution Ring

Eighteen people are behind bars today as a result of an all-day prostitution sting in Hamilton.

The sting involved officers from the Butler County Sheriff's Department and the Hamilton Police.  Officers began their sting Thursday morning and continued until early Friday morning. 

Undercover officers, responding to citizen complaints, worked in downtown Hamilton to pick up seven female and one male prostitue and ten "johns".

All 18 were charged with solicitation they are:

  • Ronnie Lynch, 24, 2 counts soliciting

  • Tonia Hux, 32, 2 counts soliciting

  • Carol Cope, 48, 2 counts soliciting

  • Debra Helton, 38, 2 counts soliciting and possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Charlene Clay, 26, 2 counts soliciting and possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Cassandra Guthrie, 37, 2 counts soliciting, trafficking in drugs, and possession of drugs

  • Marla Adams, 31, 2 counts soliciting

  • Gin Hunley, 39, soliciting and other outstanding warrants

  • Allen Pochard, 49, for soliciting

  • Derrick Wilkinson, 23, soliciting and drug abuse

  • Millard Garret, 38, soliciting

  • Carlos Morales, 25, soliciting

  • Edgar Marroquin-Robledo, 24, for soliciting

  • Charles Mills-Davies, 27, 2 counts soliciting

  • Victor Juarez-Perez, 30, soliciting

  • Luiz Tadeo-Chaves, 44, soliciting

  • Ryan Simms, 19, soliciting, trafficking in drugs, and drug abuse 

  • Shawn VanWinkle, 25, for soliciting
