As crude oil prices go down, so goes our gas prices here in the Tri-State. Oil futures were lower just over half a dollar at $72.57 a barrel.
The national snapshot of gas prices stands at $2.91 a gallon. Locally, according to AAA, we're seeing prices just nine cents higher than last year at $2.67 a gallon. A story in this morning's Cincinnati Enquirer cites the end of the summer travel season as the cause for the lower prices. Here's to hoping the lower gas price trend continues!
