Bonds Set For Accused Killers Of Marcus

$10.1 Million Dollars Each

Liz and David Carroll are both being held under 10.1 million dollar bonds.

Liz and David Carroll both appeared in Hamilton County Judge Patrick Dinkelacker's courtroom Wednesday afternoon.  The Carrolls are accused of killing three year old Marcus Fiesel and then buring his body. 

Liz Carroll, the 30-year-old foster mother of Marcus, appeard visibily shaken as she walked into a packed court room for her hearing.  With her head down, her lawyer entered a not guilty plea.  She has been charged with:

  • Making False Alarms
  • Two counts of Inducing Panic
  • Two counts of Perjury
  • Two counts of Child Endangering
  • Involuntary Manslaughter

Then in came in 29 year old David Carroll who appeared a little more composed.  The foster father pleaded not guilty.  He has been charged with:

  • Making False Alarms
  • Two counts of Inducing Panic
  • Two counts of Child Endangering
  • Involuntary Manslaughter
  • Gross Abuse of a Corpse

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said after the arraignment that he was pleased with the bond amount and said he was confident that they will stay behind bars.   Deters also said that charges of murder could come by next week.
