Riverfest Big Bang; Now The Cleanup

(CINCINNATI) -- The Labor Day weekend show didn't disappoint.

Thirty minutes of booms, bangs, ooohhhs and aahhhhs.

People lined both sides of the Ohio for the annual Toyota WEBN Fireworks.  The crowd that can be  estimated at half a million began to arrive hours before the first fuse was lit.

Police in Newport say that 8 people were arrested on the south side of the river. Cincinnati police say arrests for the day were minimal.  None of the arrests were for violent crime.

And after the crowd goes home its left to those who labor on labor day to clean up.  Crews were cleaning up the remains of Riverfest early Monday morning.
