10.1 Million Dollar Bond Set In Clermont County

Carrolls Plead Not Guilty To Murder

Liz and David Carroll have pled not guilty to charges of murder in a Clermont County courtroom this morning.

Much like their appearance last week in a Hamilton County courtroom, the foster parents of three year old Marcus Fiesel were whisked into court individually and signed their pleas and had their bond set at 10.1 million dollars each.

The Carrolls are charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping, felonious assault and two counts of child endangering.  David Carroll faces an additional charge of gross abuse of a corpse for taking Marcus' body to a Brown County farm and attempting to incenerate the autistic three year old's body.

The public defender representing the Carrolls has asked that a public defender, who is not from the immediate area, represent the Carrolls.  Possibly because of the involvement that so many people had in searching for Marcus after the Carrolls reported him missing from an Anderson Township park.

A pre-trial hearing is set for September 13th at 8:30 a.m. and FOX19 News will be there with the latest information.
