A funeral is scheduled for a soldier killed in a helicopter crash in Washington.
However the family and friends of Sergeant Thomas Clarkston will encounter some protestors outside of his funeral.
A controversial church group is expected to be outside of Clarkston's funeral which will be held at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium of Union County High School.
Members of the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church protest at military service funerals because, they say, military deaths are God's punishment for homosexuality.
Clarkston was killed along with two other soldiers just outside of Tacoma in December when their blackhawk helicopter crashed.
