Prosecutor Expects Carroll To Plead Guilty

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters expects Liz Carroll to plead guilty in the next week to charges against her.

Carroll was charged with perjury, filing a false report and inducing panic.

Court papers say that she and husband David Carroll led investigators and police to believe that their three year old foster son Marcus Fiesel was missing. Later investigators learned that the boy had been killed.

The 30 year old is also charged with lying to a grand jury about the three year old's disappearance.

She has been brought back from state prison to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Carroll is serving a sentence of 54 years to life after a jury found her guilty of killing the three year old boy.
