A 25 year old man is behind bars a week after he was indicted for the shooting death of a man during a home invasion in Covington.

Police say that Donald Moore shot and killed 38 year old Vaughn Acklin during a home invasion robbery in December of 2006.

Moore was caught on Pine Street by officers of a fugitive task force and Covington Police Department.

Investigators said at the time of the shooting that Acklin was shot in the head as he was trying to escape from the invasion in his Vine Street apartment.
