NTSB Recommends More Down Time For Controllers

Federal Investigators are urging regulators to give air traffic controllers more time between shifts to prevent dangerous fatigue.

The recommendation is based on the National Transportation Safety Board's investigation into last year's deadly Comair crash that killed 49 people.

The air traffic controller on duty only had two hours of sleep between shifts.

The NTSB doesn't believe fatigue caused the crash but said that it played a part.
