Mother Arrested After Police Find Heroin And Syringes In Car

A Fort Thomas mother is facing numerous charges after police pulled her over for a burned out headlight.

Police say that they found heroin and drug paraphernalia in the car of 31 year old Jennifer Kennedy. Kennedy's two year old son was also in the car when police pulled her over in the 500 block of Liberty Street in Cincinnati.

Kennedy was wanted for several outstanding speeding tickets.

According to police, Kennedy, who is four months pregnant, had 10 syringes in her car as well as a spoon used for heating the drugs to put into the syringe.

Kennedy was arrested and charged with drug possession, child endangering, possession of drug instruments, drug paraphernalia and two traffic related charges. 

She was arraigned in court and is being held on bond in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
