Delta's CEO said that for quality's sake, the airline might make changes in its regional carrier system.
Gerald Grinstein told the Associated Press that substutions to the regional feeder system will be made if the carrier's service isn't up to snuff.
Delta has warned that as it emerges from Chapter 11 bankruptcy it might sale or spin-off CVG-based Comair.
A recent airline quality survey ranked Comair near the bottom of the list on quality which included lost luggage and airline delays.
Grinstein says the decision about what to do with Comair is one Delta's new board of directors will have to make.
Delta intends to emerge from bankruptcy April 30th.
