Grimshaw Named Special Prosecutor in Amy Baker Trial

(BATAVIA, OH)  -- Lynn Alan Grimshaw, the former prosecutor in Scioto County has been named as the special prosecutor in the extradition trial of Amy Baker.

Grimshaw was the special prosecutor in the Tom Noe Coin scandal.  He is a major in the Ohio National Guard.

As the special prosecutor he will be paid 150-dollars an hour plus driving expenses.

Amy Baker is fighting extradition to Mason County, Kentucky to face a tampering with evidence charge.  In court she testified that she helped David Carroll dump the remains of murdered foster child Marcus Fiesel into the Ohio River.

A special prosecutor was named due to Clermont County Prosecutors defending her against the extradition.  She was promised immunity in the case for her testimony against David and Liz Carroll.
