(AUGUSTA, KY) -- Amy Baker appeared in a Mason County courtroom this afternoon to waive her rights to a preliminary hearing.
Her attorneys says that her case will now go before a grand jury which could indict her on tampering with evidence charges.
Baker was arrested in April after admitting in an Ohio court that she help dispose of the remains of murdered foster child Marcus Fiesel in the Ohio River. Kentucky has jurisdiction over the river.
The grand jury is expected to meet on July 13th.
