UPDATE: Woman Found Guilty Of Stealing Funds From Kings Island

(LEBANON, OH) --

Update, Friday, April 11:

Darlene Powers has been found guilty of grand theft and tampering with records, both felonies.

A Warren County grand jury returned the guilty verdicts following a five day trial. The verdicts fround Powers guilty of taking $75,000 in cash and changing records to conceal the theft.

Previously:

A Warren County grand jury has indicted a woman accused of stealing funds from Kings Island.

The indictment alleges that Darlene Powers took approximately $75,000 during a period from May 2006 through July 2006.

Powers was an employee of Kings Island at the time and she allegedly altered records to conceal the theft.

She is charged with tampering with evidence.
