Cincinnati Fire Crews are investigating a fire that nearly burns down a Wendy's Restaurant in Walnut Hills.
Around 9:30am, crews responded to a fire at the Walnut Hills Wendy's at the 800 block of William Howard Taft Road. When they arrived, there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the building. The fire lasted about 20 minutes and there was heavy damage in the roof and the dining area.
There were two employees in the establishment, but they were notified of the fire from a passerby. No one was hurt.
Damage is estimated at 250,000 dollars. The cause is still being investigated.
