The couple who robbed a PNC Bank had their bond set at one million dollars Saturday Morning.
Kenneth and Jewell Maples showed up in court for their arraignment. Bond was set for each of them at 500,000 dollars.
They are accused of robbing the PNC Bank at 10276 Reading Road in Evendale on Friday. Unknown to them, the teller put a GPS tracking device in the bag of money.
Police shut down Interstate 71 temporarily to search cars for the suspects. The Maples were apprehended and are now in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Update: 12:45 p.m.
The interstate scene has been cleared and traffic is moving smoothly. Two suspects - a man and a woman - are in custody and being questioned by Evendale police.
Update: 11:15 a.m.:
Police have apprehended two suspects on Interstate 71. Traffic is moving slowly through the area. The suspects were in a white pick up truck.
Police are looking for a man who robbed the PNC bank at 10276 Reading Road in Evendale at around 10 a.m. on Friday morning.
The man is described as white male in his 40's wearing a dark baseball hat, sunglasses, a gray shirt with maroon sleeves and jeans. He also has a scruffy beard.
The suspect took off on southbound I-71. Police do not have a vechicle description yet and have stopped traffic on I-71 at Reading to search vehicles. A GPS tracking device was placed into a bag of money the suspect took.
Anyone who may have seen this man or witnessed the robbery is urged to call police.
