(FOREST PARK, OH) --

Update:

Adrian Layson's bond has been set for $1 million.

Previously:

Police have made an arrest in a murder that occurred last month in Forest Park.

Adrian Layson, 25, was arrested Thursday morning as he was leaving for work in connection with the shooting death of Corey Robbins on Oct. 26.

Police say Layson and Robbins were engaged in an altercation when Layson pulled out a handgun and fired three rounds, striking Robbins in the upper extremities. Robbins later died as a result of his injuries at University Hospital.

Investigation revealed no prior connection between the two men. The shooting was the result of Layson believing Robbins had taken 15 dollars-worth of phone cards while shopping at a local pony keg.

Layson has been charged with aggravated murder and will be arraigned in court on Friday.
