Police Make Arrest In October Shooting

Cincinnati Police Vortex Units have made an arrest in connection with a downtown shooting that happened October 31.

On Saturday, a male juvenile was arrested for the open warrant with the shooting death of 26-year- old Marko Faulkner and the felonious assault of 26-year-old Richard Whitaker.

On Wednesday, October 31, police offices were dispatched to the intersection of 12th and Mains Streets around 11:45pm. When they arrived they found both victims on the sidwalk with gunshot wounds.

Faulkner and Whitaker were both transported to University Hopsital where Marko Faulkner died from his injuries.
