(OVER THE RHINE, OH) --
The crane collapsed onto a parked SUV. No one was in the car at the time. Witnesses say the driver pulled into a parking spot, dropped coins in the meter, put on a construction hat and walked away about 10 minutes before the crane collapsed on it.
Police say the crane operator had to be extracted, but did not suffer any injuries.
The 100-foot crane was operated by Turner Construction Company, the company in charge of the construction site.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and it is lucky no one was hurt seriously.
Most of the power has been restored to the area.

The incident happened just before 9 a.m. at the site of the new School of Creative and Performing Arts school at 12th and Race Streets
Several streets around the area are shut down. The crane hit several power lines, causing outages in much of the area.
It is unclear if there are any injuries.
