(HAMILTON, OH) -- A Butler County man has been convicted of his 11th DUI.
A jury found William Pfeiffer, of St. Clair Township, guilty of operating a vehicle under influence and driving under suspension.
According to the Butler County Prosecutor, Pfeiffer has ten previous DUI convictions.
Earlier this year, police say Pfeiffer was a block from his house when he was stopped by a train. A passing deputy noticed his vehicle parked behind a stop sign with no headlights on and stopped to investigate. The officer noticed several indicators of impairment.
Pfeiffer refused all field sobriety tests and was arrested. It was his second OVI conviction this year alone.
The jury also found Mr. Pfeiffer guilty on the OVI enhancement for having more than five OVI's in 20 years, and he now faces up to seven-and-a-half years in prison.
