NuWay Foundation's 2nd Annual Bianu

The NuWay Foundation was created by Evans Nwankwo and his wife Cathy in 2006 to transform the lives of the less fortunate through education, community building and economic development. The Foundation is currently focused on projects in the village of Awa, Nigeria, where Evans lived until he was 19 years old. In the past year, NuWay has funded four water stations in the village to supply residents with clean, safe drinking water, provided school supplies to the village and is funding five additional teachers at the school.

The NuWay Foundation Bianu is being held Friday, November 30th, at 6:30 p.m. at Jungle Jim's Oscar Event Center in Fairfield. Tickets are available by calling Kate Walls at 513/742-9191. It is the NuWay Foundation's major fundraiser and features cultural food, music and performances, as well as an auction. Link to their website for more information.
