SHARONVILLE, Ohio - The holiday lights are on tonight in Sharonville thanks to workers upset after the display had been vandalized.
Organizers say vandals cut power cords, ripped down about 25,000 lights and mangled displays throughout a park on the night of November 20th.
Damage was estimated at 35-hundred dollars.
The Alleen Company has provided the lights and designed the display for eight years.
The day before Thanksgiving, workers and some of their children were out fixing the display during a storm.
Police say they caught the vandals after finding them with coupons for hot chocolate and coffee that a local McDonald's used in a promotion for the display.
The company took the financial hit for the repair.
