UPDATE: Bank Offers Reward For Information On Robbery

(SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH) --

Update: U.S. Bank is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for committing a bank robbery.

Anyone with information should call U.S. Bank Security at 1-800-685-5515 or the local FBI.

Previously:

The  Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning at the U.S. Bank in the 10500 block of Loveland-Madeira Road.

Police say just after 9 a.m., a male black suspect entered the bank and struck a male customer in the head with a gun, knocking the customer unconsious. The unknown suspect then vaulted the teller's counter, grabbed an undetermined amount of cash, jumped back over the counter and fled the bank and went east.

Witnesses indicate the suspect ran behind a strip mall next to the bank and entered an older model green minivan with wood trim on the side.

The suspect is described as a male black, mid 20's, 5-foot-7, 145 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gym shoes.

The injured bank customer was treated fro non-life threatening injuries at Bethesda North.
