Teen Killed In Crash On I-75

(FLORENCE, KY) -- An Erlanger teen was killed in a crash on Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. Police say a car coming on to northbound I-75 from U.S. 42 hit a patch of ice, skidded out of control and was struck by an oncoming tractor trailer. The accident caused the semi to jack knife.

The driver of the car, 19-year-old Kelsey Sorrell, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck did not suffer serious injuries.
