Man Accused Of Sex Crimes Against Children Withdraws Plea

(CINCINNATI) -- A man accused of multiple sex crimes against children withdrew his plea on Friday and will now face trial.

Russell Back, 52, was facing multiple charges of gross sexual imposition and kidnapping. He entered a plea of guilty in October.

However, Friday, he withdrew that plea and now faces trial. His trial date has not been set.

Back would have faced nine years in prison if he kept his plea. Instead, if convicted, he could face life.

Back is accused of tying up three kids and forcing them to watch him perform sex acts. He's also accused of videotaping them nude and sexually assaulting one of them. The children ranged in age from 3 to 8 years old.
