Whole Wheat Scones from Embrace a sweets company
1 bag of Embrace Sweets Whole Wheat Scone Mix
(2) sticks of butter
(1) cup of buttermilk
Cut butter into slices in a large bowl and mix dry ingredients until crumbly. Add egg and buttermilk and stir until completely combined. Dough will be moist but not sticky.
Shape dough into 12 - 18 balls (depending on size you want) bake 21-24 minutes. Enjoy promptly with your favorite preserve, honey or plain!
