UPDATE: Names Released In Green Township Murder

(GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH) --

Update:

The victim has been identified as Richard W. Christensen. He was a resident at the home.

William R. Kues, also a resident at the home, has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated murder.

Police say Christensen and Kues were staying at the resident with Kues' grandmother. Kues is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Previously:

Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man for a murder in Green Township.

A 38-year old man was shot in the head shortly before 1 a.m. at a home in the 5700 block of Filview Circle.

Deputies received a call from a female resident inside the home. Upon arrival, officers removed the caller from the residence. The then found the victim lying in a hallway with two gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 34-year old suspect was found in a nearby bedroom and taken into custody.

The names of the victim and the suspect haven't been released.
