School Closed Due To Vandalism

(HILLSBORO, OH) -- Classes are not in session Tuesday at one local school after vandals attacked the building on Sunday night.

Just before 6 p.m., officers got a complaint of breaking and entering at Highland County Christian School on West Walnut in Hillsboro.

School administrator Lynn Lowell says someone threw a brick through a church door, went through the school ransacking the place, stole one laptop computer, cut the cords to a number of other computers, trashed the school office and some classrooms, stole some medicine prescriptions and threw paint all over the place, damaging a copier.

No arrests have been made, and anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
