(EVENDALE, OH) --
We want to clarify a story we ran previously regarding what is now an arson case in Evendale. The fire occurred last month at a warehouse and distribution center on Glendale Milford road. On Friday, Feb. 22, the Evendale fire department declared it a case of arson and joined Crimestoppers offering a five thousand dollar reward in the case. We want to clarify that the Evendale fire department says fire occurred in a warehouse leased by T-H-E-M of Ohio and did not affect any other tenants of the building.
Update: Investigators say a fire that damage the warehouse in Evendale was arson.
The Arson Task Force and Crimestoppers are offering a $5,000 reward for information on the fire.
Structural damage is estimated at $40,000. Content damage has yet to be determined.
It was a long night for firefighters as they tried to knock down the flames in an Evendale warehouse.
Crews say the fire started in an storage area full of cardboard in the Brendamour-Evendale Business Center on Glendale Milford Road.
It took about five hours to put out the fire. One firefighters suffered minor injuries.
No word on what caused the fire or the amount of damage caused.
