Inmate Collapses In Clermont Co. Jail

(BATAVIA, OH) -- The Clermont County Sheriff's Office says a man found collapsed in his jail cell on Sunday likely died of a heart attack.

Around 11 p.m. Sunday night, jail staff found Charles J. Farsin, 53, of Cincinnati, collapsed his cell.

A jail nurse attempted CPR and employed a defibrillator. EMS was called to the scene and transported Farsin to Clermont Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
