Shark Taco's accompanied with Cilantro Wild Rice

Shark Taco Recipe

  • Shark - 2 oz
  • Jerk Seasoning 1 teaspoon
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 1/2 oz
  • 8" Flour Soft Tortilla - 2
  • Shredded Lettuce - 1 oz
  • Pico De Gallo - 1 oz
  • Sour Cream - 2 oz
  • Guacamole - 1 oz

Cilantro Wild Rice

  • Wild Rice - 1 Cup
  • Water - 2 Cups
  • Salt - 2 Teaspoons
  • White Pepper - 1 Teaspoon
  • Lime - 1 whole lime
  • Cilantro - 1 oz

Prepare the Wild rice first - Bring water to boil, add all the ingredients, bring back to boil and cover until rice is tender. (For time just look on package, time depends on the brand you purchase)

As rice is cooking then start your shark tacos - Heat pan to medium - high temperature and slightly coat bottom of pan with oil. Use remaining oil to coat both side of shark and cover in your jerk seasoning. When pan is nice and hot drop shark in to sear that flavor in. (Shark is a dense fish, and for this particular dish should be cooked through).

Place tortillas in separate skillet for roughly 10 seconds on each side to soften it up a bit. (If you don't feel like dirtying out another skillet just stick them in the microwave for a few seconds)

Lay shark strips in tortillas, and your Pico de Gallo and lettuce

Place all the items on a plate, then put your sour cream and guacamole on one side of the dish to let your guest choose how much he would like to add to his taco.
