(CINCINNATI) -- An 86-year-old man is in critical but stable condition after being hit by a car on Monday night.
Police say Michael Urti, of Price Hill, was crossing Boudinot Ave. when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Joseph Frimming, 52, of Delhi Township. Urti was not in a marked crosswalk. Frimming was not injured and was wearing a seat belt.
Urti was transported to Mercy Western Hills Hospital and then air lifted to University Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police say excessive speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash and ask that any witnesses call the Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
