Visits from the FOX19 Meteorologists and the StormTracker are fun and educational. There is no cost for FOX19 StormTracker visits.
The FOX19 StormTracker can visit your school, church or other organization. We can arrange for a FOX19 meteorologist to bring the unit and demonstrate its state of the art features.
Here's what we ask:
Organized groups only, please. Scout groups, class field trips, church groups and other organized visits are all fine.
Appropriate adult supervision is a MUST.
The StormTracker is able to visit your school or event Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Each visit is about an hour. Booking is subject to availability
Plan ahead! We avoid offering visits during February, May and November and weekends are also difficult due to staffing issues.
We are a newsgathering organization, so it is always possible that we will need to re-schedule the StormTracker visit if we have a big news story or a severe weather situation. If that happens, we will do our best to contact you before we are scheduled to be there.
If you would like to request a visit from the FOX19 StormTracker, ENTER YOUR EMAIL BELOW and complete the request form. Someone will contact you as soon as possible.
