Heart-Shaped Puff Pastry

Heart-Shaped Puff Pastry
with Caramelized Bananas and Fresh Pineapple

  • 2 Frozen or fresh puff pastries or croissants
  • 1 Fresh Pineapple, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup Callabaut white chocolate chips
For caramelized bananas:
  • 1 tbl butter
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 tbl brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Bake pastry as directed, if needed. Cool and then cut a heart shape out of the center of the pastry with a cookie cutter. Saute bananas in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to caramelize. Melt chocolate in microwave. Fill in heart shape with caramelized bananas and place pineapple around pastry, then drizzle with white chocolate.
