UPDATE: Victim of Fort Mitchell crash ID'd

Update: Police have identified the victim of a fatal car crash in Fort Mitchell.

James Taylor, 19, of Erlanger, was the driver of the Malibu and was flown to University Hospital, where his condition is unknown. His passenger was Jason Partin, 16, also of Erlanger. He died at the scene.

Jerry Cline, 29, of Covington and his wife, Angela, also 29, were in the Accord. Their injuries are not life threatening.

A person died in a head-on crash Thursday evening on Orphanage Road in Ft. Mitchell.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Police say alcohol could be a factor.

Police have not released the identity of the victim.

Investigators say a Chevy Malibu collided with a Honda Accord. The Malibu was going uphill on a curvy section of the road, went left of the center line and struck the Accord.

The two people in the Accord received non-life threatening injuries. One person in the Malibu was flown to University Hospital, the other was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say it appears neither person in the Malibu was wearing a seat belt.

The Accord somehow ended up on top of the two passengers in the Malibu, and police believe the deceased may have died from suffocation from having the car on top of him.
