UPDATE: Teen Involved in Mount Airy Murder Will be Tried as Adult

Update: A judge has decided to try the teen suspected in this case, 16-year-old Neco Hawkins, as an adult.

A grand jury will now decide whether to indict Hawkins on the murder charge. He is being held on a $600,000 bond.

Update: Police have arrested the teen wanted for this murder.

The juvenile was arrested Friday, March 14 and charged with murder and aggravated robbery.

Cincinnati police are looking for a teen responsible for a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning in Mt. Airy.

At 2:40am, police responded to the 5800 block of Colerain Avenue for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 23-year-old Terry Larkins Jr. dead at the scene.

After an investigation police have now signed warrants for a 16-year-old.
