Adams Co. Murder Suspect May Be Responsible For Other Deaths

(ADAMS COUNTY, OH) -- An Adams County murder suspect could be responsible for the deaths of two other people.

44-year old Darryl Walters, of Cherry Fork, admitted to killing Melinda Powell after DNA evidence tied him to the crime.

Powell was murdered in July of 2004.

Walters has also admitted to two other murders, one in Scioto County and another in Portsmouth, and investigators are looking into those claims.

Walters is being held on a $500,000 bond.
