(COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH) -- Three teenagers have been arrested, accused of stealing a car.
Around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies and Colerain Township police officers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle that the owner was following north on Colerain Ave. turning onto Lapland Dr.
The stolen vehicle was described as a silver 2006 Ford F150. It was reported stolen on Feb. 14.
The vehicle was located, crashed and abandoned in the 3000 block of Lapland Dr.
A witness confirmed to officers that the driver of the crashed vehicle entered a late model red Pontiac Grand Am and was traveling north on Colerain Ave.
Deputies stopped the vehicle on Banning Road at Colerain Ave. Three suspects were arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
The suspects have been identified as: Christopher D. Furr, 18, of Cincinnati, charged with receiving stolen property and failure to control; Trenton Grant, 19, of Cincinnati, charged with complicity to receiving stolen property and William T. Lane, 18, of Cincinnati, charged with complicity to receiving stolen property.
