(COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH) -- Police are investigating a home invasion that led to a shooting in Colerain Township.
Around 12:40 a.m. Monday morning, officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of Town Terrace Drive for report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Willie Hall, 56, inside the residence suffering a gunshot wound to his left leg. Hall stated that he was confronted by an unknown intruder and a brief struggled ensued. During the struggle, the suspect produced a .38 caliber handgun, shooting the victim through the left leg. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
Hall was transported to University Hospital and remains in good condition.
The suspect is described as a black male, 19 years old, light complexion, about 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds wearing a black Starter jacket with a hood, sunglasses and blue jeans.
