(CLIFTON, OH) -- It took 25 firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down a fire in the Clifton area early Tuesday morning.
Flames broke around 2:45 a.m. at a three-story single family home in the 2600 block of Bellevue Ave.
Upon arriving, fire crews found the home heavily engulfed and aggresively fought the fire to keep it from spreading to a neighboring building.
The only occupant of the home, an elderly female, made it out safely.
Damage is estimated at $75,000 and the cause is under investigation. No smoke detectors could be located.
