(CINCINNATI) -- A railroad car caught fire on Thursday morning in the CSX rail yard in the 700 block of Dalton.
Crews were called to the one-alarm fire around 4:25 a.m. One car had smoke emitting from it.
Fire crews contacted CSX, who determined the product was identified as an open hopper-car fill with "coke," which is a by-product of coal.
Crews filled the hopper-car with water to extinguish the fire. The cause was determined to be spontaneous ignition.
About 30 firefighters responded to the scene and there were no injuries reported.
