A young girl was taken to the hospital after they were reported missing and found in a lake at the Winton Woods Park Friday night.
Around 7:00pm, Hamilton County Rangers received a call about a missing child. The father, 27-year-old Richard Hassinger, was in the playground with his three children when the family was leaving. After he placed two of the children in the vehicle, the third child, Abigail Hassinger, was gone. Hassinger searched for a short period of time, then flagged down another visitor to call 911.
Hamilton County Rangers put a county-wide search for Abigail. she was found a little after 7:15pm in the lake near shore of the Winton Woods Harbor. The child was pulled from the water and immediately given CPR. Abigail was transported to Children's Hospital where she is in the intensive care unit.
An investigation is still underway.
