The widening scandal of sexual abuse by priests landed investigators in Dayton, Ohio.
Police seized computers at St. Henry Church, citing a minimum of inappropriate use by Father Thomas Kuhn. Cincinnati Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk immediately placed the 61-year-old former principal and teacher at Price Hill's Elder High School on administrative leave.
"I wish I could guarantee that there could be no further pain and suffering, but I can't," he wrote in a letter to parishioners.
Father Kuhn had recently returned to duty following three months of rehabilitation to treat an alcohol problem. But, according to the congregation, adversity serves only to test faith.
"I'm shocked about what's going on in the church," started Joe Unice, "But it doesn't shake our religion."
