(WESTWOOD, OH) -- A fire caused heavy damage to a home in Westwood on Thursday morning.
Flames broke out around 11 a.m. in the 3600 block of Hull Ave. in Westwood.
Firefighters initiated an interior attack on the fire. The main body of fire, which was located in the structure's first floor kitchen, was quickly brought under control. However, the fire extended to the home's second floor and attic.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Working smoke alarms were reported in the structure. Thirty firefighters responded to the fire with no injuries being reported.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and currently being investigated by the Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit. An estimated loss on the home is being set at $40,000. Two adults and two children were displaced from their home and will be staying with family members.
