"Mussels from Cumin"

Ingredients:

  • 14 Mussels
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Whole Cumin Seed
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Serrano Chilis
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Coconut Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Onion Diced
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Garlic
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

Directions:

  • Heat a medium skillet to medium heat.
  • Add oil and cumin seed, and cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Add Serrano, red onion, fresh coconut and garlic, and cook for about 2 minutes.
  • Add mussels and coconut milk.
  • Add salt to taste and lime juice at the end.
