The Warren County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of a suspect wanted in a home invasion robbery on Fairlane Place in Franklin Township Wednesday night.

Police say shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday night, a suspect followed a 77 year-old man into his home demanding money.  The victim had just returned from getting food from a Middletown carryout when the suspect burst into his house, holding the victim and his wife at gunpoint.

After locking the couple in a bathroom, the suspect removed currency and other items from the home and fled.  The couple was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male 25 to 35 years old, 5'08" to 5'10" and 150-160 lbs.  He was wearing a grey sweatshirt over a black t-shirt, blue denim work pants, and a blue and black knit cap.  He also wore brown cloth gloves and brown work boots.

He was possibly last seen leaving the neighborhood in a dark colored Ford Crown Victoria.

Anyone with information in this offense is urged to call CrimeStoppers and 513-352-3040 or the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 513-695-1280.
