Governor Ted Strickland toured flooded area of Ohio Thursday evening.
In South Lebanon, he saw homes and businesses, finding stories of determination and hope for rebuilding.
But that re-building may be a little more difficult for some residents.
Governor Strickland says that the damage done in south lebanon may not be bad enough to qualify for state money to help residents repair their homes.
"We'll need to take a close look and make sure that every home that's been damaged is evaluated to see whether or not the criteria for assistance would be there "
Governor Strickland also said it was important for all residents in flood prone areas to have flood insurance.
