Highland Heights Man Shot Twice After Trying To Buy Drugs

(HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY) -- A Highland Heights man was shot twice in the legs following a drug deal gone bad on Saturday night.

Around 11:35 p.m., Richard Robbins, 20, says he was shot twice while attempting to purchase $20 worth of marijuana at the Hidden Valley Apartments.

On Monday, police arrested two individuals, David Robinson, 19, of Cincinnati, and Daryl Jones, 19, also of Cincinnati. Both have been charged with robbery and lodged in the Campbell County Detention Center.

Police say the shooting is still under investigation and additional charges may be filed.
